All Maryland voters may vote absentee. To obtain an absentee ballot, you may download an Absentee Ballot Application from the Board of Elections by clicking here.

You may then mail or fax your application in by following the instructions on the back of the application. The ballot will be sent to you by mail.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the Democratic Primary is:

• If the application is mailed, 4:30 p.m. on February 5, 2008; or
• If the application is faxed, 11:59 p.m. on February 5, 2008.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the General Election is:

• If the application is mailed, 4:30 p.m. on October 28, 2008; or
• If the application is faxed, 11:59 p.m. on October 28, 2008.
